In this class, students will study seven major Ancient Civilizations:  Ancient Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, Hebrews, Ancient India, Ancient China, Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome.  
All units include an examination of the impact of economics, politics, and social history on the developing world. The six themes (geography, economy, government, science & technology, culture, and belief system) of history  are woven into all the units.
