Team Player: Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much

· Thank you to all who tried out for our 2018 promotion speeches!!  It was very difficult to decide upon these three winners:
Zyra Bacon, Alex Woodward-Ganz and Anne Harlan.  Please congratulate these wonderful young ladies on a job well done.  And thank you again to all of our brave speakers who auditioned.


·         Great News! The yearbooks arrived early and so we are going to start passing them out early! Please come to room B-ll after school on Friday, June 8 to pick up your pre-ordered yearbook.  No sales will be made at this time. IDs are required. 

·         8th graders! Please come check in with Mrs. Mack if you believe you have not missed one whole day of school for 3 years.

·         Pacific Islander students participating in Fridays activity please turn in your permission slip to Ms. Rasmussen today.  If you forgot it today you need to talk to Ms. Ras to be included in the activity.

·         Haven't bought a yearbook yet? You can still buy one at the Banker on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday this week or in B-11 before or after school. We are selling out fast, so get yours today!

·         Congratulations to 7th grader Judy Lam for submitting the winning Agenda cover design.  Her design will appear on all 1600  2018-19 agendas.   Thanks to all students that took the time to enter there wonderful drawings.  Thursby

·         Attention 8th graders: You may now purchase your ticket for the Cal State Long Beach Activities Night!

            Tickets will be sold during lunch behind the cafeteria. The event will take place on Tuesday, June 12.

Tickets are $10.

·         Attention all students, any student who fails to report to detention on the same day they receive a reminder slip, will automatically earn 1 demerit. Don’t let this happen to you. Make sure you serve your detentions on-time!

Students, any confiscated clothing items must be picked up before the end of the school year from Dr.Prioleau or the uniform closet.  Items that are not picked up will be donated to the Goodwill this summer.
