Long Beach Public Library Databases

Using Online Research Resources at the Long Beach Public Library:

1. Go to the Long Beach Public Library website (http://www.lbpl.org)
2. Run cursor over “Databases” in the left column.  Click on A-Z.
3. Look at the list of resources.  They cover a wide range of topics, for example:
   • Novelist (information on books and authors)
   • Literature Resource Center (information on books and authors)
   • Opposing Viewpoints (supports research on social and political issues)
4. Click on one and follow the steps to log into the resource.  You must have a current Long Beach Public Library ID number to log in.​​​​​​​
