Hello Students and Families,

  Welcome to Hughes and welcome to an amazing and exciting year for all of us!  I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know you all.  I am Mrs. Partida and I am so excited to be your history teacher this year.  We are going to have so much fun together!  In Ancient World History class we will have a great time exploring world geography and seven major ancient civilizations:  Ancient Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, Hebrews, Ancient India, Ancient China, Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome.  
All units include an examination of the impact of economics, politics, and social history on the ancient world.
